The recent series releases Paatal Lok 2 and Suzhal 2 on Prime Video have made thriller fans buzz vivaciously; however, their receptions couldn’t be more different.
Paatal Lok 2 is one of those blockbusters that has its viewers awestruck by its dark and gripping narration and serialized characters.

Inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary, this time, finds himself placed at Nagaland, trying to pry the nerve-racking murder mystery against the backdrop of age-old corruption and social decay. The show not only carries on with the momentum but raises it and delivers a thrilling intellectual that keeps its viewers glued to the screen.
Jaideep Ahlawat’s character pulls it off yet again, bringing raw energy and reality. It’s such a great season that the fans are already demanding for a third season.

On the other hand, Suzhal 2 hasn’t been so impressive. Adhering to its familiar mix of mystery and folklore, this particular instalment feels a tad too reminiscent of the earlier one.
Set in another town, and on the murder of a lawyer who practiced there, there’s great essayed acting from the cast, but it misses that original storyline that spiced season one. It’s good but just doesn’t sit with the same kind of rigor, and the hype surrounding it drastically lowers.

Hence, Paatal Lok 2, without any doubt, turns out to be the outright winner. Teeming with excitement, intellect, and a bar-setting quality, it can hardly be compared with the magic the previous show warranted.
