In a recent interview, Aamir Khan revealed that his next ambitious project will be a retelling of the Mahabharata.
The actor-producer shared that he hopes to begin work on the film later this year.

He admitted that the project would take considerable time, as the writing process alone will require a few years due to the vastness and grandeur of the story.
When asked if he would also act in the film, Aamir said that, for now, he plans to only take on the role of producer. He emphasized that he wants only the most suitable actors for the roles, and if he doesn’t fit, he won’t act in it.

Aamir also mentioned that, because of the scale of the tale, the film will be told in multiple parts and might involve a collaboration of various directors.
Following this announcement, many fans are questioning whether this project will actually be made or if it’s simply a PR stunt to generate buzz around his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par.
