Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par has finally got a new update as it is releasing on June 20, 2025. Although the makers have not announced it from their side, online outlets have claimed that the film was supposed to arrive on May 30.
An insider said that the release date of June was selected so that the film can run for two weeks without any heavy competition. Apart from this, Aamir has a strong belief in the film’s content as it will be a combination of laughter, emotions, and drama.

Sitaare Zameen Par trailer will reportedly be attached with Raid 2, which is releasing next month of May 1. Since the release date would be disclosed through the trailer, it might work out as a strategy to pull audiences to the big screen.
A marketing strategy has reportedly been planned by the makers, and this means that the songs and other promotional materials are expected to come out sooner than expected.

The latest update is undoubtedly good news for all the fans of Aamir Khan. The best part for now is that the film is releasing on a non-holiday, which has possibly not happened for any film of Aamir, Salman, or SRK over the last few years.
It looks like Aamir is extremely confident, due to which he is not trying to attract huge crowds by bringing the film on a holiday. In case the content is entertaining like Dangal, Sitaare Zameen Par might emerge as the highest-grossing film of this year.

But the marketing strategy of the makers will decide the fate of the film. The trailer has to be better than Aamir’s last film, Laal Singh Chaddha, and it has to be presented in such a form that the audiences feel that Aamir’s film is releasing in theatres.
