Following this, some netizens requested actors not to overhype their movies or characters before release, as it creates over-expectations, which often leads to backlash after release when those expectations aren’t met.

However, some people also commented that Aamir Khan’s promises about his character in Coolie before the release can’t be fully trusted, as he might be overly positive about the movie because he has signed his next film with Lokesh Kanagaraj.
