The second season for ‘Pataal Lok’ is coming out soon and the trailer has made fans beaming with excitement. ‘Pataal Lok’ went on to be one of the most appreciated shows from India when it was released in 2020 in spite of many controversies.
And one of the biggest take-aways from the show was Hathoda Tyagi, played by Abhishek Banerjee. Hathoda was a villain but grey nature and love for dogs made people fall for him.
Fans have been asking whether Hathoda Tyagi will be coming back for the second season. In a recent interview Abhishek Banerjee has confirmed that the character cannot return as he killed himself in the first season.
He said, “It breaks my heart to know that Hathoda Tyagi won’t be a part of Paatal Lok 2. I wanted to play that character once again. I have not been lucky with that.”
But there is a ray of hope. Just like Abhishek and Divyendu Sharma are returning with their respective roles in the Mirzapur film even after their death in the series, Hathoda Tyagi can come back for a film edition of Pataal Lok.
Abhishek Banerjee said, “Thankfully, a Mirzapur film is coming. Whenever Paatal Lok is made into a film, maybe Hathoda Tyagi will return.”
