His exact words were, “I am in the cockpit, and my entire face is covered. It gives you a glimpse of how fearless the character is. I could only portray vulnerability, courage, and passion through my eyes…

…When I finished the scenes, I held my directors and cried for the man and the sacrifice he made.”

The actor also shared his commitment to the role, revealing the hardships he had to endure over three years such as visiting multiple airbases and even meeting with Devayya’s family.

Despite such touching commitment, it all may go down the drain if the audience does not share the same level of emotion after the film begins its theatrical run.

While the actor’s tears do matter, what matters much more are the tears of the public shed in the theatre. Those are the final tears that will get translated to BO numbers, taking the film to greatness.

With the buzz for Sky Force at an all-time low, its possibility of success at the BO looks even more difficult.

Social media also seems to be taking a dig, with users being sarcastic about the incident. One user said, “Great that he cried, but will we cry in the theatres or yawn?”

Another commented, “His tears won’t matter if the script and direction don’t deliver.”

With Sky Force about to hit the theatres on January 24, the public is hoping for the same level of emotion as Veer Pahariya, so that they get their money’s worth in the end.
