After facing a delay of a few months, Raid 2 was finally released in theatres today. The film has witnessed a decent response in terms of occupancy for Day 1 and the numbers are expected to rise by the next three days.
While a portion of the public is praising the thriller, there is a section that is not so satisfied, specifically with Ajay Devgn’s performance.

People are now starting to feel that Ajay is repeating the same expression in his last few films without providing anything unique. While some people claimed that Ajay was sleepwalking, others said that it was lousy.
Audiences have even compared it to Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha and Singham Again. Although Ajay’s film Shaitaan was also successful, people are saying that his overall appearance is looking similar to his character from the supernatural thriller film.

Moreover, people are additionally not happy with the way Raid 2 turned out. Netizens have claimed that the film follows a routine format due to which things feel repetitive, specifically in the second half.
Audiences are still appreciating the first half, saying that there are some amazing dialogues. A few others mentioned that a sequel to Raid was not needed at all.

Due to franchise value, Raid 2 might emerge as one of the highest-grossing films of this year. But it looks like Ajay Devgn might have to put in some extra effort to appear a little bit different on screen.
Apart from Ajay, the directors working with Ajay have to ensure that they try to bring out his potential on the big screen. Ajay has a long list of films on the way, and the response to Raid 2 should now bring some change in the actor.
