Housefull 5 has made a solid impact at the box office with a two-day total of ₹50 crore. The second-day collection stands at ₹28 crore, a decent figure for the franchise, though not explosive by Akshay Kumar standards.
The film has clearly taken a new direction. While the first four parts were known for their family-friendly comedy, this installment goes in a bolder, flashier direction. With louder humor, more glamour, and exaggerated characters, it seems to be targeted mainly at the youth.
