As fans enjoy Thamma in theatres, Maddock Films surprised them by unveiling Shakti Shalini. The film introduces a new leading face that audiences have been anticipating for quite some time.
It is none other than Saiyaara star Aneet Padda. Kaushik shared that he wanted a young, fresh presence for the film, and Aneet impressed him after her performance in Saiyaara.
The director confirmed that Shakti Shalini will most likely mark Maddock Films’ first release of 2026. The team is pacing their lineup carefully to avoid overwhelming audiences with too many films at once.
For now, Kaushik’s complete focus is on Shakti Shalini after wrapping up Thamma. The film is expected to go on floors by January 2026, with pre-production already underway.
