Whenever a film is associated with the name of music maestro AR Rehman, the expectations of the music lovers sore high and they wait for a heart warming album with variety imbibed in the form of instruments used and the experiments he does with voices.

But he had disappointed us with the boring album for Suriya’s ’24’ in which none of the songs could stand out. They are lost in the crowd and we know they aren’t going to be among his best renditions. Once again, Rehman came up with another boring album for Bollywood period drama ‘Mohenjo Daro’ starring Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde in the lead.
The reviews on the album say that Rehman didn’t put best of his efforts on this album. His earlier films with director Ashutosh Gowarikar had been musical hits which include memorable songs from ‘Lagaan’ and ‘Jodha Akbar’. That was in the past. ‘Mohenjo Daro’ album isn’t the kind, music lovers would expect from him.
