Both senior batters recently featured in India’s ODI series against West Indies. Rohit scored 225 runs in the three matches, while Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 139 in the final ODI to register his 55th century in the format.
Shubman Gill will lead India in the first three matches, while Shreyas Iyer will take over as captain for the final two ODIs. Wicketkeeper Kumar Kushagra will also join the squad for the last two matches.
The first ODI between India and New Zealand will take place on Wednesday, November 4, at Eden Park in Auckland. The match will begin at 3:00 PM local time in New Zealand, which is 7:30 AM IST.
The second ODI is scheduled for November 7 at Hnry Stadium in Wellington, followed by the third match on November 10 at Seddon Park in Hamilton.
The teams will then travel to Mount Maunganui for the final two matches. The fourth ODI will be played on November 13, while the fifth and final match is scheduled for November 15 at Bay Oval. All five matches will begin at 7:30 AM IST.
