
Yogesh Mahajan, television actor best known for playing the role of Shukracharya in Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyag Tandav, has died on 19 January 2025.
He was lying unconscious at his flat in Umergaon when discovered. He had been found to be absent from work. He was rushed to hospital, but he was pronounced dead due to a cardiac arrest.

His family members, too, confirmed the news and said they were under shock and glee. Mahajan left behind his wife and his seven-year old son. Loss of him just really shook up many of his family members.
Mahajan was a comprehensive actor, in that he portrayed roles in several serials. Some of those serials are like Adaalat, Devon Ke Dev Mahadev.

And serials such as Marathi movie Mumbaiche Shahane. And he was always jovial and present on the shooting spot at his sets.
This sudden death brings in awareness of the risk of sudden cardiac arrest even for people who look healthy. A regular health check becomes a reminder.

Yogesh Mahajan has lost a great talent and a beautiful soul that graced the entertainment world. Even though his work will continue living, memories of the people around him will be carried forward.
