Bollywood is bringing back one of its most beloved classics—Life in a… Metro—with a spin-off titled Metro… In Dino, hitting theaters on 4th July 2025. And as a bonus surprise, the first song drops this weekend!

Pritam, who rose to musical superstardom after the original, now faces the challenge of recreating that soulful depth in today’s soundscape. But will he strike gold again?
The cast for the sequel includes—Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, and, most importantly, the return of Konkana Sen Sharma, the 2000s’ IT girl.
Sara Ali Khan also joins the ensemble, though netizens aren’t entirely convinced she has the emotional depth the film demands.
Still, fans are genuinely rooting for this one. And if the song lands the way we hope, Metro… In Dino might just prove to be a sequel worth waiting for.
