The situation of Bollywood has changed over the last few months, where certain things are being accepted by those who are associated with the film industry.
While 2023 was a very good year for Bollywood with multiple hits and some blockbusters, the situation changed in 2024 where the numbers reduced by a huge margin. Although the second half of the year turned out to be a little better, it was still not enough.

Actors and filmmakers have been expressing their opinion about the same on different occasions, with a few accepting that the content is not up to the mark, and films are not being made by considering what people want to watch.
Moreover, the neutral audience and certain personalities have also accepted that the method of corporate booking is followed by many filmmakers nowadays, leading to the display of inflated figures for any film on any platform.

The budget of most of the films has been reduced now, but the same money is now reportedly being used for corporate bookings. On the other hand, makers have been using the strategy of special discounts such as BOGO and tickets at Rs. 99 to attract audiences.
The production company and a lot of people associated with the film industry are doing their best to ensure the survival of Bollywood.

But considering that people are losing interest in films, maybe it is the right time to bring better stories instead of trying to grab the attention through certain methods.
Filmmakers have to accept that Bollywood is going through a very bad phase and theatres are empty on most occasions. Depending on the usual teams are not enough now. Producers have to search for new and better talent if they are genuinely interested in saving Bollywood from sinking.
