Awarapan 2 and Batwara 1947 are all set to clash at the box office this upcoming weekend on August 14, 2026. Advance booking has already started, and the response is clearly showing that Awarapan 2 is a little ahead compared to Batwara 1947.
Notably, this is another clash between Sunny Deol and Emraan Hashmi after more than 15 years. For the unversed, the first part of Awarapan was released alongside Apne in 2007, and the former emerged as a flop at the box office, despite getting positive reviews.

On the other hand, the situation of Batwara 1947 is not so good. Audiences are not showing much interest compared to Sunny’s previous three big releases since 2023. The current prediction for the first day is between Rs. 7-9 crores, leading to a weekend number of Rs. 35 crores.
