Tiger Shroff hoped to make a strong comeback with Baaghi 4, presenting a new look and high-voltage action after a string of solo flops. The first look created excitement, but the buzz has quickly faded with time.
While the teaser and trailer sparked some interest, doubts remain about whether the film can sustain hype and perform well at the box office. Tiger’s recent track record post-pandemic has been weak, and audiences may hesitate before heading to theatres.
Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has also faced setbacks with films like Housefull 5 and Sikandar, which adds more pressure on Baaghi 4. Trade experts feel the film might struggle to secure a strong opening despite being part of a successful franchise.
Fans are hoping for at least 10 crores on day one, but reactions to the trailer have been mixed. Some viewers found it decent, while many criticised its heavy dependence on violence and unrealistic action sequences.
The film has so far sold around 7,000 tickets across the top three national cinema chains, as per box office tracker Himesh Mankad. With its release set for this weekend, the outcome will decide if Tiger reclaims his star power or faces another flop.
