When the poster of Baaghi 4 was released, fans expected a violent and intense performance from Tiger Shroff. But after the teaser dropped today, the reactions have been mixed. The film stars Tiger Shroff and, much like its predecessors, seems to revolve around a love story.
The teaser shows Tiger mercilessly killing masked men, claiming his violent rampage is for love. Sanjay Dutt plays the villain, and many expected his role to be equally fierce. Female leads Sonam Bajwa and Harnaaz Sandhu are also shown in violent action sequences, stabbing and slitting throats to appear tough.
Despite the hype, viewers felt the teaser did not deliver. Many described it as a poor blend of Animal, Marco, and HIT 3. While the violence is high, the lack of a strong plot has left fans underwhelmed. Before the pandemic, Tiger was a consistent box office draw despite frequent trolling, but recent films like Heropanti 2, Ganapath, and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan have been major flops.
Directed by Harsha, the teaser has drawn comparisons to South Indian action films like Marco and HIT 3, with a style that also seems influenced by Animal. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala, already facing losses from recent failures like Bachchan Pandey, Heropanti 2, Sikandar, and Housefull 5, is also under pressure for this film’s success.
Whether Baaghi 4 can revive Tiger’s career and Sajid Nadiadwala’s fortunes remains uncertain. The teaser may not reveal the full picture, and fans are still hoping the film offers more than just endless killings and love-driven violence.
