Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava has shattered records with the highest second Saturday collections of all time, surpassing Pushpa 2’s numbers.
The film collected a massive 42 crores net on its second Saturday, edging past Pushpa 2, which stood at 41 crores net. This makes Chhaava only the second film ever to cross 40 crores net on its second Saturday.

The film’s total now stands at approximately 270 crores net, surpassing Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, another Maharashtra-dominated film.
Unlike its first week, where business was primarily driven by Maharashtra, Chhaava has now picked up in other regions, particularly North India. Political backing from the ruling party has played a role in its strong run in Maharashtra, but the film is now expanding its reach nationwide.

Early trends for Sunday indicate collections in the range of 43-46 crores, despite the India vs Pakistan cricket match, which could affect occupancy in the evening shows. Regardless, Chhaava is set to cross 300 crores net today.
Looking ahead, Chhaava has a strong shot at breaching the 500 crores net mark, surpassing Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal (490 crores net).
