Saiyaara swept the box office with a storm and the first week was unfathomable. Now that it has established itself as a hit, fans have come to their critical senses and some analytical reviews have also started pouring in for the film.
Saiyaara is Ahaan Panday’s debut with Mohit Suri who is an acclaimed name for films like Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain. This release was often casually compared with Hrithik Roshan’s debut film Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai.
However, many Hrithik fans and cinephiles felt that it is an irrational comparison. KNPH released in 2000 and became a story that resonated with every millennial.
It was believed to be the love story of the century. It was backed by solid acting by both the lead stars, effortless dance performance by Hrithik, and sensational music.
The phenomenal reception of KNHP is not something Saiyaara has achieved yet. Ahaan is not short of his own acclaim but comparing this film to Hrithik’s debut film KNHP seems unfair to many.
Many experts felt that Ahaan Panday is yet to achieve his full potential. And fans are excited to see Aneet and Ahaan finding further huge projects in their careers.
