
There is something seriously wrong happening with Bollywood as even notable heroes are struggling to put even mention the numbers when it comes to opening day box office tallies.
Recently, it was Sky Force, which posted a decent number but largely faced allegations of corporate bookings.

Cut to now, Another notable hero Shahid Kapoor is arriving at the box office with his latest film Deva which is releasing in theaters tomorrow.
Going by the early box office reports, this film is struggling to sell substantial number of tickets at the box office. Reportedly the early trends that are projected for the film at the Indian box office is very poor.

Shahid is a decent enough star in Bollywood to pull a 10 crore opening at least, but that is not even going to be remotely the case with Deva. This film is likely to be opening in the vicinity of ₹4 to 5 crore at the box office, it seems.
The early reception for the trailer was ranging between average-to-good. But this did not constitute to a sizeable enough opening for the film, which is evidently the case now.

Analyst stating that Shahid is indeed a decent enough, but the issue is that he has whatever following only in the urbane youth market. This isn’t substantial enough to bring him openings for his films, which appears to be the issue now.
Despite being a mass film, Deva is now struggling to head anywhere at the box office and it has to be seen if the situation will get any better in the due course, as the film needs a big weekend.
