Shahid Kapoor’s highly-anticipated ‘Deva’ has finally been released on the big screen, garnering mixed reviews from people across social media.
While the first half of the film has been called ‘fast-paced’ with Shahid showing most of his aggression as a cop, the second half is where most of the emotional and story-building aspects happen.

The film has also drawn criticism from many people. Many parts of it have been lengthy, leading to many feeling bored or losing focus.
The action sequences have been designed poorly, with the sound also being poor.

While Shahid’s performance as an ultra-aggressive cop has been decent, people had expected much more from him, and by the looks of things, he has failed to deliver on that.
Pooja Hegde’s character is also very predictable, leading to a massive cut in her influence over the storyline.
All in all, Deva manages to make one sit in the theatre with some moments of intrigue, but fails to create magic at main places where it could have.
