The shooting of Mohanlal’s highly awaited Drishyam 3 directed by Jeethu Joseph began a few weeks ago. The team is moving at a fast pace and filming is progressing smoothly.
Meanwhile, strong speculation suggests that the Hindi remake Drishyam 3 starring Ajay Devgn may begin shooting on December 12th. This update has caused confusion and concern among Drishyam fans.
The Drishyam story was originally written by Jeethu Joseph. After the Malayalam version became a blockbuster, Ajay Devgn remade it in Hindi. When the Malayalam story continued in Part 2, the Hindi remake also followed the same script.
However, the Malayalam Drishyam 3 only started filming recently and is expected to release by Summer 2026. This has raised an important question. Is the Hindi Drishyam 3 being made without Jeethu Joseph’s story?
Jeethu Joseph recently said in an interview that he would take legal action if the Hindi makers create the third installment without his story or permission.
According to Malayalam film trackers, one possible explanation is that Jeethu Joseph might have already completed the story and shared it with the Hindi team. This would allow both films to shoot together and release close to each other.
For now, there is no clear update on Drishyam 3 from either side. Many questions remain unanswered until official announcements are made.
Drishyam is a successful crime thriller in both Malayalam and Hindi. Expectations are high for Drishyam 3, and audiences are eager to see how the story unfolds and whether it succeeds in both languages again.
