With just a day left for Ek Din, the film starring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi is facing a weak buzz. Awareness among audiences appears low, and many are still unaware of its theatrical release this week.
The makers opened advance bookings early to attract viewers, but the response has remained poor. The film’s music and promotional content have not created strong interest. Compared to Ek Din, audiences are showing more attention towards other running films.
The romantic drama is also struggling with limited show counts. This is disappointing for a project backed by Aamir Khan’s production. Despite active promotions, the film has not secured enough screens, which may impact its overall reach.
Sai Pallavi’s presence has not significantly improved the situation. While she is gaining attention for Ramayana, audiences seem more focused on her role as Sita in that film rather than this release.
Early estimates suggest an opening of around Rs. 10 to 15 lakhs. Trade experts believe growth will be difficult even with positive word of mouth, as the film lacks strong pre-release excitement and mass appeal.
Junaid Khan’s previous film Loveyapa also failed to perform at the box office. With Ek Din showing similar signs, the actor may need a stronger project to connect with a wider audience in the future.
