Director Milap Milan Zaveri is gearing up to bring Grand Masti 4, the latest film in the Masti franchise. The film will revolve around a comic plot of extra-marital affairs, leading to chaos and confusion among couples.
This time, the story explores a ‘reverse Masti’ concept, where both husbands and wives engage in affairs. The original stars Aftab Shivdasani, Vivek Oberoi, and Riteish Deshmukh are set to reprise their roles.
Joining them in this new instalment are actors Arshad Warsi, Nargis Fakhri, and Tusshar Kapoor. The makers are eyeing a release date of 21 November, but it is unclear if filming will wrap up in time.
Despite the buzz, the film has already sparked backlash online. Netizens criticised the movie’s premise, saying that making light of infidelity isn’t acceptable in 2025.
Many feel the adult-comedy genre is outdated and lacks appeal in theatres. With OTT platforms already saturated with similar content, audiences aren’t convinced Grand Masti 4 deserves a big-screen release.
