Bollywood is set to release a new romantic comedy called Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, which has been directed by David Dhawan and produced by Ramesh Taurani.
The movie is coming out on April 10, 2026, with Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde leading the cast.

David Dhawan, who was known for his comedy blockbusters during the 1990s, particularly those with Govinda, returns to his signature genre. But the world of cinema has evolved, and the audience today looks for contemporary storytelling and universal humour.
The movie will tell us if Dhawan’s comedic touch can still reach across generations. Also, Varun Dhawan, who frequently plays light-hearted characters, lends his own brand of energy. His past collaboration with his father has been a decent success at the box office.

Some even term her as “unlucky” for films, but her promise remains intact.
With its combination of vintage and newcomers, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai looks to achieve a balance of traditional old-school charm and contemporary new-age appeal. The movie has created pre-release buzz, and everyone will be watching how it fares in 2026
