Housefull 5 has maintained a decent run at the box office, and while the first week has ended, the box office report is also out. The film has managed to cross more than Rs. 110 crores in the first week, and the seventh day number was reported to be almost Rs. 6 crores.
With the second week starting on June 13, 2025, the film has to show some boost and collect more than Rs. 160 crores.

Housefull 5 has reportedly been made on a budget of Rs. 225 crores, and considering that it somehow collected more than Rs. 100 crores in the first week, things might become tough for the film in the second week.
Moreover, Housefull 5 will face a huge competition in the third week from Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par. While the promotional material of SZP has hardly created any buzz, things might change with a positive word-of-mouth, and Housefull 5 might get ignored by the audience.

Housefull 5 is considered to be one of the biggest films of this year. It was expected to bring some relief to the theatre owners and distributors. For now, the collections have hinted that people were possibly not showing any interest in watching it.
There are several reasons why the film did not leave a big impact. It includes shifting from a theme that made the franchise popular, and the confusion between the two versions with two endings, titled 5A and 5B.

After Chhaava, Bollywood has been struggling to deliver a big blockbuster. While Housefull 5 could not do that, it looks like the wait will be a little bit longer.
