Brought to us by Junglee Pictures, the production house behind movies like Raazi, Badhai Ho and Bareilly Ki Barfi, their new project is named Ulajh. The film is directed by Sudhanshu Sarai, the Article 370 fame, and it is a spy thriller. It is a star studded project with Janhvi Kapoor in lead role and other actors like Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang and Adil Hussain. It will be released on the big screens tomorrow, 1 August.
Its trailer has already grossed 27 million views creating a significant buzz over social media. The film has a female-centric spy storyline that is refreshing for the viewers. As per the trailer, it seems more realistic than the usual bollywood spy thrillers as it is surrounded by bureaucracy and covers a conspiracy against an IFS officer. The film also includes some hand in hand action and a cutting chase against time trope.

Janhvi was last seen in Mr. & Mrs. Mahi which was received decently by the fans. Embarking on a thriller packed project, Jahnvi is now ready to give a serious performance to the fans. However, concerns remain around the spy adventure trope as they are often presented in a cliched form. Honest reviews will only come after its release but currently the fans seem excited for the film releasing tomorrow!
