Janhvi Kapoor has once again become the centre of attention this time for her interactions with the original Student of the Year actors. Recently, she appeared on screen with both Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan, sparking quite a buzz.
Janhvi first worked with Sidharth Malhotra in Param Sundari, which underperformed at the box office despite high expectations. During the promotions, a video of Sidharth offering his jacket to Janhvi went viral. Many called him out for being too flirty, saying it was inappropriate since he’s married.
Now, while promoting Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Varun Dhawan, Janhvi has again found herself in controversy. During a promotional event, Varun lifted her up something he often does with his co-stars which upset many viewers.
Trollers criticised Varun, saying such gestures make actresses uncomfortable and show disrespect. They pointed out that while Sidharth faced backlash just for offering his jacket, Varun’s act was far more inappropriate.
However, Varun’s fans defended him, saying the moment was scripted and meant for publicity. They urged people not to overreact and to take it in the right spirit.
