A specific monologue in the trailer references South Indian superstars such as Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Yash and most notably Allu Arjun.
In a striking moment, Janhvi’s character delivers lines that highlight the stature of these stars, with Allu Arjun’s name getting a clear emphasis. The inclusion appears aimed at connecting North and South fan bases while also riding the wave of Allu Arjun’s growing nationwide popularity.
However, the move has not gone down well with every section of the fandom. Fans of Prabhas and Mahesh Babu have voiced their dissatisfaction online, suggesting that the strong focus on Allu Arjun overshadows other Telugu icons. With both Prabhas and Mahesh Babu enjoying massive loyal followings, the selective spotlight on Allu Arjun in a pan-India Bollywood project has left some feeling their favourites were sidelined.
While such references are often made for commercial appeal and industry integration, they can also be risky. Overemphasising one star may alienate other fan groups, especially in the passionate and competitive South Indian movie community. The trailer has certainly generated buzz, but not all viewers believe it was for the right reasons.
