Jolly LLB 3 was released in theatres this Friday after a long wait. The first-day collections are reported to be Rs. 12 crores, which is decent but not extraordinary. Fans and critics are closely watching the film’s performance.
The film saw better occupancy during evening and night shows, according to popular critic Taran Adarsh. Considering the Day 1 numbers, Day 2 collections are expected to jump by 50%, potentially reaching Rs. 18-20 crores, marking a strong improvement.
Day 2’s growth is important as Sunday will be affected by the India vs Pakistan match. Early trends suggest a 60% rise in collections, with box office estimates possibly reaching Rs. 21 crores, according to Himesh Mankad of Pinkvilla.
Some viewers feel the Day 2 numbers should have matched Day 1 collections. Despite minor disappointment, fans are happy that the film delivers good content, even though the trailer did not fully excite audiences before release.
For Jolly LLB 3 to become a hit, it needs to maintain daily collections between Rs. 10-12 crores until next Friday. If weekday numbers remain strong, the film could mark a positive phase for Akshay Kumar after a four-year gap.
