Back in the day, Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar made headlines over their big feud regarding Dostana 2.
Dostana 2, produced by Dharma, was announced in April 2021 and was supposed to star Kartik Aaryan alongside Janhvi Kapoor.

This was allegedly the starting point of their feud, though the actual reasons were never disclosed by either party.

Jump to 2025, and Dharma has now announced two major projects starring Kartik Aaryan- Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri and NaagZilla.
Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri was announced on Christmas last year, with a Valentine’s 2026 release date.

The motion poster for NaagZilla was released recently, with the film set to hit theatres on August 14, 2026.
After such a fallout just a few years ago, the producer seems to be placing a significant bet on Kartik Aaryan.
But will it be a smart investment for Dharma?
It appears that Dharma is trying hard to portray Kartik Aaryan as the next big superstar, and these two upcoming releases are a step toward positioning him as one of the A-listers.
However, the gamble might pay off.
If the makers and the actor put in the required effort, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri could turn out to be a decent rom-com. NaagZilla might become a fun family entertainer, something that’s been missing from theatres lately.
However, only time can tell if Dharma’s bet proves to be a good one.
