Earlier, buzz suggested that Kriti would lead Nayi Naveli, a fantasy drama linking Indian mythology with modern-day storytelling. The film was expected to start filming in December. However, sources clarified that there is no truth to these claims.
Kriti has faced a tough phase recently. After the poor run of Shehzaada and Adipurush, her only recent success came with Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Now, she’s counting on her three big upcoming projects to bring her back on track.
She has Tere Ishq Mein with Dhanush ready for release, is shooting Cocktail 2 with Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, and will begin Don 3 soon with Ranveer Singh. She is fully focused on these projects, and there has been no conversation from her side about Nayi Naveli.
