Sanjay Leela Bhansali is set to return to his signature visual scale as Love And War enters its final stage of production. The filmmaker will soon begin filming two grand song sequences featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal.
The first song is scheduled to be shot from January 20 at Film City, Goregaon. Choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, the sequence will feature all three lead actors and is expected to be high energy and emotionally intense.
As seen in most Bhansali films, the emphasis will be on lavish sets, detailed costumes, and strong emotional depth. The focus is likely to go beyond dance steps, using music to drive the narrative forward.
The second song is planned for February 9 and is being described as one of Bhansali’s most experimental musical sequences. For this number, the director has collaborated with Shiamak Davar, promising a fresh visual and choreographic style.
Unlike Bhansali’s classical approach, this song is expected to feature contemporary movements and theatrical staging. Sources suggest it will stand apart from his usual musical presentations.
The actors have reportedly started rehearsals and are dedicating significant time to preparation. Given the scale and complexity, these songs are expected to play a vital role in the film’s storytelling.
Love And War is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 14, 2026. Featuring three of Bollywood’s most bankable stars, the film has remained under close industry observation since its announcement.
With these major song shoots lined up, the project appears to be moving steadily toward completion.
