Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited epic Love & War, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, is set for an international schedule in Italy.
After nearly 125 days of filming in India, the filmmaker will move the unit to Sicily in October 2025 for the grand climax. This sequence is planned as a lavish mix of grandeur, drama, and romance.
Currently, Bhansali is filming with the star trio on a massive set in Mumbai. The schedule continues until mid-October, after which the team will fly to Sicily for a month-long shoot.
Industry tracker Himesh Mankad from Pinkvilla revealed that the climax is designed to showcase the acting strengths of Ranbir, Alia, and Vicky. A song sequence will also be filmed, highlighting Sicily’s stunning landscapes and adding an international touch.
As is his process, Bhansali is already editing portions that have been shot. The makers aim to wrap production by December 2025 or early January 2026 to allow smooth post-production.
The film is set to release on March 20, 2026. With its A-list cast, Bhansali’s signature storytelling, and breathtaking visuals, Love & War is positioned as one of the biggest cinematic events of the year.
