Yash Reveals the Truth Behind Ramayana’s Rs. 4000 Crore

Yash explains Ramayana budget details

The widely discussed Rs. 4,000 crore budget of Ramayana has finally been clarified by Yash. During his appearance on Aap Ki Adalat, the actor addressed the speculation surrounding the massive budget and explained what the figure actually represents.

Yash clarified that the Rs. 4,000 crore estimate is not the production budget of Ramayana Part 1 alone. He explained that the amount covers both parts of the film franchise and is not limited to the cost of making a single movie.

According to Yash, the overall figure also includes the worldwide marketing and promotional plans for the franchise. The makers intend to introduce the Indian epic to global audiences through large-scale campaigns, international events and merchandise.

The strategy follows the model adopted by several major Hollywood productions. A significant portion of the investment is allocated not only to filmmaking but also to global distribution, promotions and audience outreach.

As a result, the viral Rs. 4,000 crore figure needs proper context. It represents the combined investment in both films along with their worldwide promotional efforts rather than the budget of Ramayana Part 1 alone.

Interestingly, co-producer Namit Malhotra had previously spoken about the overall figure. However, many people assumed that the amount referred only to the first instalment, leading to widespread discussion on social media.

Yash’s latest clarification has now helped clear the confusion. His explanation provides a better understanding of the scale of the Ramayana franchise and its planned global release strategy.
