In a recent interview, well-known celebrity photographer and media insider Manav Manglani shared some insights into the unseen world of paparazzi, power, and Bollywood’s PR machinery.
While he covered several topics, one particular statement has caught everyone’s attention his confirmation that some celebrity photos are intentionally leaked as part of PR strategies.
When asked if celebs sometimes leak pictures on purpose, Manav agreed. He explained that PR teams often release photos strategically to create buzz—whether it’s about a fashion look or a public appearance.
Manav then recalled the last major leak he could remember Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s infamous Ibiza beach pictures from 2013. The couple, who dated for around six years before breaking up in 2016, were seen relaxing on a beach in the leaked images.
At the time, it was widely assumed that a tourist or a media photographer captured the pictures. However, Manav now reveals that the leak came from someone close to the couple.
Fans on social media were quick to revisit the controversy. Many remembered how Katrina was visibly upset with the media and accused them of invading her privacy.
Some even suspect that Ranbir Kapoor himself leaked the photos to show off his relationship, though there is no confirmation of this.
