He stated that Ramayan Part 1 is wrapped with the shooting schedule and things are working at a good pace on the post production phase for its timely release next Diwali. The makers are planning to release part 2 after a year’s gap in 2027 Diwali, the shooting for the same will begin soon.

Netizens raised the questions as to what is the hurry to complete filming so quickly when they have such a long time till release. There are already many controversies surrounding Ranbir’s role of Lord Ram, fans hope that the film is made with sincerity and reverence to the religious sentiments, otherwise makers can land on thick waters.
Currently, he is working on Love and War which is a high-end romantic drama directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It also has Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal as the main leads.
