
Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Sikandar’ continues to find itself in the middle of controversies due to the ambiguity around it.
A new controversy has come forward recently regarding the film’s anticipated budget.

While many prominent sources like Pinkvilla had reported the film to have a grand budget of Rs.400 Cr before the name reveal, the latest articles hint at something completely different.
Now articles are popping up, confirming Sikandar to have secured an amazing non-theatrical deal of Rs.165 Cr, covering approximately 80% of the film’s production cost.

But if that’s even remotely true, then the film’s budget should be around the 200-cr mark, half of what was advertised earlier.
It seems that a lack of confidence in Sikandar has forced the makers to resort to the cheap tactics of silently decreasing the film’s budget rather than trying to increase its Box Office collection.

After all, a 200-cr film has a much higher chance of being called a hit, thus somewhat saving them the embarrassment of creating a 400-cr mega-flop disaster.
