With only five days left for release, Salman Khan’s Sikandar has finally received a UA 13+ certificate from CBFC with some minor changes. The action-drama will arrive in theatres on March 30, 2025.
Although the censors did not touch the action or violent sequences, they have requested the makers to remove the word “Home” from “Home Minister” in scenes where the word is used. Moreover, a political party hoarding was also blurred to avoid any kind of controversies.

While the viral censor certificate shows that the running time is 2 hours 30 minutes, insiders have claimed that the version arriving in theatres is only 2 hours 15 minutes and 46 seconds.
Apart from this, the makers have trimmed certain scenes from their side and also approached the CBFC with the same. Multiple dialogues of around a minute have been removed alongside a scene that runs for almost 2 minutes and 26 seconds.

Another scene that was removed by the makers was for around 4 minutes and a total of 26 scenes have been trimmed.
A sequence featuring Sanjay singing the Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh was also trimmed and in exchange for the cuts, seven seconds of the lead character’s reaction shots have been added.

The sequences trimmed from the film sum up to almost 14 minutes, and the final runtime is 2 hours 15 minutes and 47 seconds.
It looks like the makers are concerned about audiences getting bored at one point due to which they have decided to keep the film as fast-paced as possible. Moreover, the list of cuts does not feature anything that will affect the overall progress of the film.
However, the success will be dependent on the overall response to the main storyline. Let’s see if Salman can bounce back and break records this time.
