At a recent Dubai event, filmmaker Farah Khan confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan is personally training Suhana Khan for her action scenes in their upcoming film King. The update came during a Danube Properties function where a major commercial project was unveiled in Shah Rukh’s name.
Farah praised Suhana’s dedication and said Shah Rukh has taken full responsibility for preparing her for the demanding action role. She also noted that both of Shah Rukh’s children are entering the industry with focus Aryan Khan is working on his web series The Bads of Bollywood, while Suhana is stepping into a more intense project after The Archies.
According to Farah, Suhana has been training consistently, which is crucial for a film with heavy action sequences. King also marks a major shift for Shah Rukh Khan. He described his role as dark, violent, and layered, very different from his romantic image. His first look with silver hair and a cold expression created strong interest.
Set for a 2026 release, King is directed by Siddharth Anand and features an ensemble cast including Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Arshad Warsi, Abhishek Bachchan, and others. For Suhana, the film is a significant leap, especially with the chance to learn action directly under Shah Rukh’s guidance.
