Salman Khan’s upcoming release, Sikandar, has put the stakes high for a box office battle. Although, the March 23 trailer created mixed reactions from the audience but provided theatre owners and distributors with sufficient hopes.

Manoj Desai, owner of iconic theatres Maratha Mandir and Gaiety Galaxy, was hopeful, “Mai distributor ko hath pair jod ke 4 theatre me lagaunga,” with very high hopes for the movie’s prospects.

AR Murugadoss-helmed Sikandar promises a run-of-the-mill Salman Khan blockbuster with high-octane action, emotional drama, and fresh pairing with Rashmika Mandanna.

The trailer has Salman in his larger-than-life avatar, blending high-octane action with emotional intensity. Fans have already called it a “mass entertainer,” with many predicting record-breaking success.

The stakes are high, though. In order to qualify as a hit, Sikandar would need to rake in over ₹300 crores net in the box office collections in India. With superstars Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal having recently made ₹500 crore blockbusters, Salman has the responsibility of establishing himself all over again.




With Eid release date of March 30 approaching, everyone’s eyes are on advance bookings and word of mouth to find out if Sikandar is capable of fulfilling its humongous expectations and flexing Salman’s box office muscles once again.
