The poster for Salman Khan’s highly-anticipated film ‘Sikandar’ has finally been released after an attempt to build extensive hype around it.
The poster was released on 18th February, Sajid Nadiadwala’s birthday, after Salman Khan made the announcement a day prior.
Although the aim of the poster was to reignite the hype around the film, it seems to have massively backfired for the makers.
Many have complained that the poster seems too generic as if it was just taken up from a clip in the teaser.
There appears to be little to no effort put into its making, with Salman’s expression being subpar at best.
It seems like they have recycled the previous poster to maintain a forced hype around Sikandar.
Social media has been buzzing with comments ever since the release of the poster.
One user said, “Disappointed with this. We were waiting for so long.. Looks like a casual photo.”
Another commented, “This seems like a fan-made poster. Fans have already made these kinds of posters from the teaser.”
If this is the ability of the makers to create hype, then it is better if they do not try any such thing rather than making a botched-up attempt by using the same recycled poster with Salman’s face again and again.
This so-called poster release has only worked to disappoint the fans while giving a golden opportunity to several online trolls.
