Who doesn’t know Dinesh Vijan right? He gave us an excellent film this year, which is the Vicky Kaushal-Rashmika Mandanna starrer Chhaava. Last year also, the filmmaker gave us Stree 2, once again, a hit.
However, his latest film, Bhool Chuk Maaf, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa, didn’t quite do well at the box office and was released on OTT soon.

Trade analysts Rajeev Chaudhari and Narendra Gupta have analyzed this matter during their recent discussion on YouTube.
The duo pointed out that despite being the brainchild behind Maddock Films and giving multiple hits, Dinesh is not using his powers well.

A filmmaker who collaborated with big names like Jio and Amazon could not even save his latest film.
Dinesh still cannot be categorized as an A-list producer because he hasn’t worked with bigger names like Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and the three Khans.

While Akshay Kumar did make a cameo in Stree 2, that’s it, no more developments.
It is also questioned why Dinesh’s 3 more films haven’t been released yet, or why he is focusing on OTT completely. These are Puja Meri Jaan starring Huma Qureshi and Mrunal Thakur, Rumi Ki Sharafat featuring Radhika Madan, and Sarvagun Sampanna with Vaani Kapoor.
At a time when the industry is in a quite fluctuating state and OTTs aren’t also paying much for film releases, what should Dinesh Vijan be doing right now?
