Sunny Deol is currently shooting his upcoming film Soorya, a Hindi remake of the Malayalam thriller Joseph. This time, he’s paired opposite Pragya Jaiswal, a popular face from Telugu cinema, known for her roles in Khel Khel Mein and Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaj.
The shoot is happening in Jaipur, and fans are curious to see this fresh pairing on screen. After the massive success of Gadar 2, Sunny is once again returning to a performance-driven role that mixes romance, drama, and suspense.
Some viewers, however, have raised eyebrows over the 67-year-old actor being cast opposite the 34-year-old actress. They point out that while older male stars often get romantic leads, their female counterparts are usually offered supporting or motherly roles.
