It’s been over 10 years since Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania was released in 2014. The romantic-comedy was loved by fans and the songs were also chartbusters, so much so that they are still iconic even today.
After that Badrinath Ki Dulhania was also released in 2017 and it did well too. Such a great romantic comedy franchise with great songs has been missing from Bollywood for a very long time.

Shashank Khaitan, the director behind these two films starring Varun Dhawan is all set to bring back similar entertainment in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. To fans’ surprise, this film will also have Varun Dhawan in lead and this time with Jahnvi Kapoor.
Both the actors have been struggling at the box office lately. Varun Dhawan is yet to overcome the disaster of Baby John and Jahnvi Kapoor is not able to establish her strong presence in Bollywood despite films like Ulajh, Mr and Mrs Mahi, and others.

The two were seen together in Bawal that was decently received by the critics and released on OTT platform Prime Videos. Fans can only hope that their box office release together works wonders for Bollywood rom-coms.
