When a film ‘Mohenjo Daro’ made with more than Rs. 100 crores and big stars couldn’t even collect a quarter of its budget, a small film ‘Pink‘ made with a meagre Rs. 23 crore is raining crores for the makers.

According to the latest update available, the film starring Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead collected a net amount of Rs. 35.91 crores at the domestic box-office besides doing extremely well in the overseas too. So, the overall collections worldwide is going to be much bigger.
With this it is clear that the film is going really strong in the second week even. The good word of mouth is the main reason for the good performance of the film. Though the subject is a serious one, since it is relatable to the contemporary times, it is received well by the audiences.
