John Abraham is back with another edge-of-the-seat thriller in The Diplomat. With his last venture Vedaa failing miserably in the theatres, fans expected something out of the box from the renowned actor.
The film’s official teaser came out recently showcasing John Abraham as IFS officer JP Singh who is seen interrogating intimadingly throughout the teaser. Portraying a real-life diplomat, John aims to portray a serious and focused role in this spy thriller.

Given his persona and screen presence, John Abraham gives a great performance in the teaser while interrogating Sadia Khateeb, who plays an Indian girl from Pakistan, where she had a forced marriage against her will.
The film also stars Kumud Mishra, Sharib Hashmi, Amitoj Mann and Sehar Shehnaz in addition to a focused and determined John Abraham. Though the film has a compelling plot and is also backed up by John’s powerful performance, it might struggle at the box office.

This would be nothing new for John Abraham as his recent filmography has been struggling at the box office with his recent films including Attack, Vedaa, and Satyameva Jayate 2.
As he aims to have a gripping saga in his upcoming film, only time will tell if fans will be able to connect with the dramatic thriller that The Diplomat offers from March 7 in theatres.
