Atlee had said that after Baby John, Varun will be one of the biggest stars in all over India. He said this movie will do to him what Animal has done to Ranbir Kapoor. But it turned out to be a huge disaster and almost ended Varun’s career.

When Varun Dhawan came to the industry people saw him as a potential superstar. Even crappy films like ‘Judwaa 2’ went on to be successful because of him, but now anticipated titles like Baby John are not doing well too.
He will be coming back with Border 2 that is the most hyped movie in his filmography now. It has huge chances as the sequel factor will work for its favour and there is massive nostalgia around it too.

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari will be a romantic comedy, a genre that Varun has excelled in already. But his superhit rom-coms are from the pre-pandemic era when the audience was much different. Bollywood has not had a good rom-com in a long time and the future of the movie is at stake.
Bhediya 2 will be a sequel to a flop film but it still has its chances as Bhediya got appreciated by audiences on OTT and it also belongs to the much favoured horror-universe from Maddock.
