It was only a few days ago that Housefull 5 was released and it’s still creating headlines for several reasons. Most of the people did not like the film as it was nowhere like its predecessors.
Many opined that the fifth installment was nothing but a complete skin show of the actresses, especially the debutant Soundarya Sharma.
However, this negativity has somehow turned out to be a little positive for Soundarya, who was earlier also seen in the reality show Bigg Boss.
As per the latest reports, Soundarya has become the most searched actress on Wiki. In fact, she has also beat Akshay Kumar in the race.
Earlier, Soundarya was called out for being just an ice candy throughout the film. The same goes for the other actresses, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, and Sonam Bajwa, who were a part of Housefull 5.
It was marketed as a fun-filled family entertainer, but what we got instead was a crass spectacle that insulted both women and the audience’s intelligence. Many also went on to compare the film with adult movies like Grand Masti.
Some critics have even questioned whether the film reflects the growing trend of valuing glam over genuine storytelling in Bollywood.
Others argue that if this is the direction big-budget comedies are heading, then perhaps it’s time for the audience to demand better rather than just laugh and move on.
Talking about Soundarya Sharma, such a talented actress should be careful about choosing her future projects, given that she hardly had any dialogue in Housefull 5. No one wants to be known just for a skin show!
