Beetlejuice Beetlejuice: Funny, Nostalgic & Everything But Horror

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

The sequel to the 1988 American fantasy horror created by Tim Burton is all set to release with the name “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”. The trailer of the movie has the classic Tim Burton touch with an imaginative way of portraying characters that walk on the thin line between creepy and funny.

With a twisted goofy plot of a ghost recruited to haunt a house and a stellar cast consisting of “Jenna Ortega”, “Michael Keaton”, ” Winona Ryder”, “Monica Bellucci”, and “Willem Dafoe”, to name a few, this Beetlejuice sequel is ready to give a theatre experience filled with goofy humor and nostalgic joy.

The peek into the plot that we get through the trailer feels like a ride of emotions transitioning from one to another faster than Dr. Strange shifts dimensions. The exploration of grief and loss in the first quarter of the trailer provides a moment to introspect deeper into the characters. And then surely in the classic Tim Burton way, there’s a rapid change of emotions and the plot jumps into a wide array of subjects that will be explored in the movie.

The director has said that this movie will have almost no use of CGI and most of the heavy lifting of creative effects will be done with the help of practical effects and stop motion just like it was done in its predecessor.

This sequel seems promising and fun. It will be hitting the theatres on the 6th of September to provide a joy ride of fun, humor, and nostalgia wrapped in a spooky theme.
